Dinkela is a sustainability-focused company that offers a wide range of wooden products. They offer photo frames, display stands, clipboards, QR codes, signs, postcards, and vouchers. Customers have many options in each category, and they can even upload photos to personalize them.
They specialize in printing photos, text, and graphics on different types of wood. Whether it’s gifts, invitation cards, signboards, menus, or room decoration items, they have something for every need.
Our team encountered multiple technical challenges while building a real-time wood print preview. We had to handle large, high-quality photos from users without slowing things down. At the same time, the preview needed to look realistic and show the image on wooden frames and textures just like the final product. Ensuring everything worked the same way across all browsers and devices made things even more complex.
Another big challenge was making sure the custom options worked smoothly with WooCommerce’s pricing and checkout system. Prices needed to change dynamically when users picked different sizes, materials, or finishes, and still work with WooCommerce’s cart, tax, and order process. We also had to ensure the final preview image was always attached to the order confirmation email.
To tackle these challenges, our team balanced frontend activity with backend reliability using an integrated builder architecture. We also improved the WooCommerce store while ensuring no compromise in performance or core stability.
