
Crumbixa Bakehouse is a B2B/B2C hybrid bakery house serving consumers and businesses across multiple channels. The company needed a platform that supports both business models and delivers a seamless experience. Because standard eCommerce solutions couldn’t meet their unique requirements, we built a custom platform for them.
We developed a fully customized Magento platform that meets all these needs. The custom-built system now integrates with their existing ERP, supports mobile commerce, and scales to meet growing demand.
The client approached us with a challenging business model. Their requirements included role-based pricing, customer-specific catalogs, ERP integration, easy checkout, strong performance, and mobile API support. We then set a clear goal to build a custom Magento eCommerce platform that could support both retail and business customers with unique pricing, catalogs, and operational logic.
Standard Magento features did not support Crumbixa’s multi-tier pricing. The platform also had to show or hide specific products based on consumers. Another major challenge was to integrate the platform with the existing ERP system. Lastly, the checkout process needed custom features for B2B customers. All these were major challenges.
We built a fully customized Magento platform from the ground up to meet the client’s specific business requirements. We developed custom modules and more, precisely tailored to their B2B/B2C hybrid model.
