
LyteGrid Solutions is a mid-sized B2B industrial and electronics distributor serving manufacturers, repair centers, and enterprise buyers. Their eCommerce operations were growing rapidly, with increasing order volumes, expanding product catalogs, and rising customer expectations.
They were using Magento 2 for eCommerce and B2B portals, SAP Business One for inventory, finance, and pricing, and Salesforce for sales pipeline and account management. While each system functioned well independently, the lack of real-time data synchronization created operational silos and manual processes, hindering efficiency and growth. The main challenge was the manual order processing between Magento and the ERP system. Orders had to be exported and re-entered, causing delays, errors, and slower fulfillment, especially during peak periods. Inventory and pricing were updated infrequently, leading to overselling, wrong prices, and customer complaints.
Customer data was scattered across Magento and Salesforce, making it hard for sales teams to track purchase history or account activity.
